‘Pass It On’ gets play on Don McGee’s "Mixed Bag" @ WFUV

The new release is getting lots of attention on the radio waves, including a very special spin on WFUV’s “Mixed Bag” on Saturday, January 25th. Don McGee played not just one but two songs from the new record, ‘Come in Out of the Rain’, and ‘Pass It On’. “Nice! I love the Hammond organ in this song.” He said after playing the first track. “Let’s listen to another.”

It’s an honor and a thrill to be played beside the likes of Bonnie Raitt on ‘Rainy Day Man’, Linda Ronstadt singing a David Olney song, and Emmylou Harris covering ‘Deeper Well’. The theme of the show was rain, and Don had only just opened my CD when he noticed that first title, ‘Come In Out of the Rain’, musing that sometimes “something comes in new that I don't know or have never heard of, and it seems like a perfect fit for the day.”
